Hi all,
Can any one help.
I have installed Sql Server 2005 on Windows 7 32 bit OS.
I am getting server not connected Error

It is as follows.

Cannot connect to KD-PC.

Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 2)

ok, the Best solution is : :

Go to Start Menu - > Click on Programms ->Go to SqlServer 2005->Configuration Tools->Sql Server Configuration Manager - >SqlServer 2005 Services

and start all the services....to Autpmatic

This will work fine

Thanks Ranjith but when I opened Sql Server Configuration Manager I see only this
SQL Server Error and Usage Reporting.
