Is a generic error message meaning that some software, somewhere has got it's pointers in a mess and tried to access memory it doesn't have any rights to. It's basically the same as the very old Blue Screen of Death.
Unfortunately, it isn't a helpful message as far as diagnostics goes, as it doesn't tell you even which process it was, much less which application started the thread.
It could be anything: video drivers, installation software, hardware fault - anything.
