how to change the project name in visual studio 2005

hi Guys,

i developed one MFC application project with name 'new'.But now i need to change it to the customer name. also my exe file should have the same customer name.please help me in doing this.....

Solution 1

Open project property by pressing

CTRL+ALT+L

then right click on your project name and then choose rename and rename. It will also take care of executable name

i did the same ..i pressed CTRL +ALT + L it went to solution Explorer i changed the file name and run it again but the old file name only coming in the exe file ....

go to property ALT+F7 and then change the exe name
