how to upload or host database on websitepanel?

hello i am yogesh i have created my first website and i need to host it on net
i have taken space on server and domain name.. my problem is that i dont know how to upload my sqlserver2008 on server either by using filezilla or by using websitepanel
i have uploaded my files of website but i dont know how to upload database on server

Please help with exampl its urgent for me....
any help will be appreciated...

You would need to ask your host if they even support SQL Server databases. If they do they you would need to ask them how to create a database on their server. We would have no idea which hosting site you selected.

This is dependent on your hosting provider. Each one will have a slightly different procedure for moving your database onto their servers. Before we get that far, however, first you need to verify that they will allow you to host SQL Server databases. Not all hosts allow that.

If your host allows it, most likely you will need to create a backup of your database and then upload that backup to a directory on your site. From there, you will probably use a control panel tool to restore that database onto the production server.

Again, this all depends on the host. Contact your host directly to figure this out. They will be the most knowledgeable about how this is performed.
