hey !
i am interested in knowing to whether a developer can define custom type of loading images?
for example :
load image from tio to bottom (a column of pixels to next column) or
loading image pixel to pixel or
first show image in dim when it load compeletly show it clearly or any other case !
i want to improve loading webpages speed !
anyone can help me ?

You're looking for the lowsrc[^] attribute of the Img tag

JPGs can be saved as progressive[^]

no my purpose is high resolution images ! i dnt want increase my images resolution...
also i dnt want to define limitation for my images! it should work on any image extension ...

if you want to do image manipulation you'll need to look at flash/silverlight
