Hi guys,
I am working in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0.
I have one custom entity and it have two fields. I am using two column layout i.e.(1:1). What i do is, i am giving field level security and in this, i am hiding field which is in first column.
Because of this, field in the second column moves from second column to first column.
I want that field in second column only.
Any idea how to achieve this? Is it MS CRM's default behaviour?

Yes, It's CRM normal behavior and I don't think there is a way to change it unless you moved to CRM 2011 where you can perform field level security without hiding fields or if it's preferred you can hide the field using field properties and to insert a spacer in the form to prevent changing the field place

Best regards..
