How to preserve hidden folders attribute on FTP Upload C#?

Dear All,
When I try to upload a Folder to FTP server using the FTP credentials, If the Folders attribute is hidden than instead of preserving the same attribute, the FTP server removes the Hidden attribute and shows the folder in visible state instead of preserving the Hidden state.
What could be the possible solution if I want to preserve the same folder/file attribute while uploading the file to FTP Server?

Is there another alternative to the codeplex solution you provided, 'cause if I'll use ftplib then I'll have to write the code from scratch.
