how to make a style for treeview in asp

In asp.net I have a treeview in masterpage.Now When I expand a parent node and click a child node of it,I am redirected to another page.Now I want to keep the parent node expanded and the child node is bold or other styled.How can i do this?

At to "keep extended", this is not a style but behavior... everything else is easy to solve with CSS.
