Is MemoryCache class similar to the ASP.NET Cache class.

Is MemoryCache class is similar to the ASP.NET Cache class. Specially for expiration if item in the cache object due to memory pressure.

I also want to know that, if MemoryCache object has some(few thousands) items. Is there a guarantee that item never expire from MemoryCache object in all circumstance

Solution 1

Here[^] is the documentation for the MemoryCache class. It's not web based, so it's not the same. As far as I can see, it does not expire.
