If you're on a LAN, you just put your SQL Server instance on the LAN, and point to it. As for the rest, this is not a real question, it cannot be answered. You make it work in an optimal way by writing good code. When you come to a specific issue, you can ask a specific question and get an answer for it. In the meantime, I suggest you buy some basic books on SQL, and if this project is going to be used in real life, pass the SQL part on to someone else, perhaps someone who can work with you so you can learn along side them for the next project ?
