Can anyone finally explain me why one needs transliterations? Such questions only come from India.
But, to best of my knowledge, all multitude of Indian writing systems is so popular that it is supported directly and by default by nearly all modern systems, including, of course Telugu. When people from India asked questions, I never had problems to enter the text in any of the scripts. Why not using "real" writing systems, without any transliterations? What's going on, can anyone explain to me?

Manas, you are talking about translation, not transliteration.

Automatic transliteration is a weird thing to me. Please take a look at my comment to the question.
Could you possibly explain to me what's going on? Why those people need such transliteration, ever?
