Send XML to GPRS Printer from Website

Hello, I have a GPRS printer with a sim card. I also have a webpage that collects information. Lastly, I have an XML file that controls the format of that information. I need to create a button on my webpage that wnen pushed will send the information from the website to the GPRS printer. The printer has it's own ID and its own IP address. I believe that this can be done via a PHP script. Any suggestion on where to start or look is appreciated. Thank you.
