How to access the functions in an applet jar

Hai Guys,

I need a help from you people.I am totally stuck.

I am having an applet jar embedded in an Asp.net web page.This applet is accessing a local scanner.Now i want to access a function in the applet jar which returns the image in an byte array.How can i access the function using java script so that i can use that in my asp code.This applet is not only scanning it is doing OCR also.So i cant use TWAIN in my project.

Well, it depend on the applet. Haven't you got any documentation, sample app with it?
