If you mean you downloaded a project from here, modified it, and now you want to upload it back into the original article, then you need to contact the original author and discuss it with them.

Unless you have made significant changes warranting a new article on just the changed material, I can't see you getting it through any other way. I personally would consider it plagiarism to produce an article on code which wasn't almost entirely yours (and with the original stuff indicated, and credited)

If it is a small change, then posting it as text at the article via the messages at the bottom both tells the author and any other readers that you think these changes should be made.
