On systems capable of running .NET, there is no a trace of DOS API. Not even close. You probably mean something else. What? Console Application? (It has nothing to do with DOS; it's a usual Win32 stuff.)

Now, did you address to Motorola documentation?

I don't know if you ever found the answer to your problem, but I created an application that monitors my internet connection. When my internet connection goes down, the application restarts my Motorola DSL modem. It does it by using an in memory browser to navigate the DSL web UI and restart the modem. I can provide code if needed, just let me know. But, just for the record I know that his question is several years old. My answer is more for people looking for an answer to this problem who may come to this site.

can you please give me the code saif.9634781@gmail.com
Without the documentation on the modem, you have no hope of doing this. You have no idea what to talk to, how to talk to it, or what commands to send to reset the modem, if there's even one to do it.

There is no standard API to do this.
