Is there a way we can check the system audio level and set the same when using jPlayer?

I have an issue with my little tool here (http://lavanyadeepak.co.nf/chanting/[^])

The audio is fine everywhere but this tool alone always plays on a higher volume. I am not setting the audio specifically in the code.

So, do you want to set the volume using code? Is it necessary that it is tied to system's value?

Sandeep,

For some reason when I play something from it it plays in a higher volume than the same audio played via double-clicking the same.

Wouldn't that depend to quite a large degree on the volume settings in _both_ the web app and VLC/mPlayer/WMP or whatever you use?
Have you checked the volume of the player are set the desktop player to the same level? Do you know for instance, that the player isn't set to 100%?
Also, I don't know about the internals of that music player, but you can add all kinds of filters to webaudio - these could also be changing the volume. As mentioned under the "APPLYING A SIMPLE FILTER EFFECT TO A SOUND" heading of the document found here: WebAudio(their capitals, not mine)

EDIT: It doesn't work for IE, so I suspect WebAudio is of little more than academic interest.
