how to store new data in dataset with existing data on button click.

i want to create a windows application . i want to retrieve a record using sql query and store it into dataset and fill it into datagridview.. but my question is that when i click button only current record is showinjg in datagridview. i want to show new records while showing old searched records..

any one plz help me......
