Compiling C# source code on mono

Hello!

I have created a project on C# visual studio 2010 on .NET4.0 and I want this application to be deployed on iOS and Android as well. I'm well aware of the CLI distributions and the libraries they should support in order to achieve that goal and I have only used those libraries which are supported by mono. But I don't know which compiler to use. Is it necessary to use MonoDevelop for that? My wish is to avoid all the IDEs, I have the source code and I need something like command line compiler to translate that C# code for iOS and Android. Any help?

Thanks in advance
