Open XML Excel : Non Editable Column

HI Friends,

Please help me in the following scenario which I got stucked.

Using DocumentFormat.OpenXML dll's classes/methods. One excel file is created.

Required : Need to show that excel file to user with one particular column as read only.

This is the requirement. I have searched the web and nothing is helpful to me.

I don't whether it is possible or not. If possible , how to achieve this.

Friends, please do the needful. It is very urgent requirement.

Hi,
Have you referred to the open xml specification?

if you google "Standard ECMA-376 Office Open XML File Formats" you should find it...see the section 18.8.33 protection (Protection Properties)

This is the same as if you were doing it in excel. i.e. mark cell as protected... then protect the worksheet.
