RichTextBox formatted content to rdlc textbox

Please help me. i am writing a code that needs to send the formatted content of rich textbox to rdlc's textbox. and i don't know how to do it. Please please help me.
reportParameter = richtextbox.text
rdlc's textbox.value = reportParameter

it only copies the content of richtextbox not the formatted value.
