Download exe file from asp.net website

Hi,
I have created a website. In this website i have given a link to download project.
Now i want that when user click on that download link selected project(exe)get start downloading...
Please provide me all the steps i am in urgent need.
Any help will be highly thankful.........

Solution 1

just give URL on hyper link of exe file It will start downloading. If you want that exe to start installation automatically then you can go for click once setup.
