Unable to access ActiveX control in Windows 8.

Hi ,
I have a ASP.NET web application in which accessing this control using <object> tag by providing class id and code base. I have set all the necessary settings for ActiveX controls under Internet Options.

When i installed IE10 in Windows 8(Release preview) machine, i can able to access the ActiveX control, but the same not able to access in windows 8(enterprise evalution) machine.

Any help\comments are highly appreciated.

Solution 2

An entry "EnableIEHosting, DWORD = 1" should be made to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft.NETFramework in order to host Windows forms control on WebPage in Windows 8 Environment 64 bit
