gridview data lossing problem on postback

i am binding a grid on some search button....after binding am entering some new values
to cells of grid....after that while clicking on the save button....unable to get the cells data..its giving null....

Most common way to face the issue if by not wrapping the datagrid bind code within Page.IsPostback property. You might be reloading and binding the grid data again in the page load, leading to loss of data.
