I have existing web-forms application, Now I want to add new functionalities to web-forms application using MVC, How can I implement

What I have tried:

To my web-forms applications I want add new tab and I want to implement that functionality using MVC.

Is it okay to add new MVC Area folder and do functionality in MVC, Do I get any Config related issues in future.

I'm sure if you google "asp.net mix webforms and mvc" you'll find possible solutions to this.
