This is a difficult problem. See the section "In education" at the bottom of this [^] article, which references a mathematics paper on the subject.

It was actually submitted before the previous response, or at about the same time, and then edited. You've got some serious issues, bud.

EDIT: You didn't like the previous response either, so it makes no difference. I notice you didn't downvote OG's canned response, troll.

First thing to do is to study the problem, get some sample datasets and start to solve by hand the problem, see what make a good solution, and what makes it not good.
Study how a given solution can be improved.
Have a look at : Integer programming - Wikipedia[^]

Hope you are not in hurry. (see solution 1 for detail)

Hi Bill, I don't like the downvote :) but at least you have the courage of your opinion.
What do you consider a useful solution to "I want a complete solution to it if someone can make for me" ?
OG's solution is "we don't do your homework".
Automatic timetable is about constraint satisfaction, and I advice to study "IP", is it in S1 or is it off topic ?

Hi Bill,
Another one downvoted my solution, but this 1 don't have the courage to say why.

By the way, what would have been a useful solution for you, just curious.

I think "relevance" to the gist of the question is what matters. But, in this case ... clueless homework dodger ? ... silence plus downvote is the only "cure" ...

OriginalGriff has earned the right to make the standard "no homework" response.

I appreciate your thoughtful response !

5 for citing a relevant article.
Not going to happen.

We are more than willing to help those that are stuck: but that doesn't mean that we are here to do it all for you! We can't do all the work, you are either getting paid for this, or it's part of your grades and it wouldn't be at all fair for us to do it all for you.

So we need you to do the work, and we will help you when you get stuck. That doesn't mean we will give you a step by step solution you can hand in!
Start by explaining where you are at the moment, and what the next step in the process is. Then tell us what you have tried to get that next step working, and what happened when you did.
