Hi All,

I am trying to open a large xml file in Excel with the same file. The file is approximately 8000 rows of data across 15 columns. The error is "Problems during load", but in the details, only "Unknown" is displayed. When the xml file is splited according to status(assigned, completed, inreview), each can be opened individually with no problem, so it doesn't seem to be either bad data or an incorrect xml format.

What I have tried:

I haven't tried any thing. Wondering if there a memory limit in Excel?

8k rows and 15 columns shouldn't be a problem.

Send the details to Microsoft; it's their product.

I'd try to open large XML file via import. See: Import XML data - Excel[^]

If it does not help, an Excel installation might be broken. In that case i'd suggest to Repair an Office application - Office Support[^]
