Howto recover dos deleted files

I have deleted files by using batch file commands on a main hard disk on my duel boot Windows 8.1 - 10 laptop. I know there is a easy way to recover them but cannot remember how.

What I have tried:

attrib -r -a -s -h *.*. Have also tried the recover command that I thought was part of Windows 8.1 but that command was not recognised by the system.
