I am developing this Native C++ Windows application and need to quickly complete the project to meet a deadline and so I do not have the time luxury to draw my own bitmaps. Please where can I get ready made bitmaps that I can use as tool bar button images for my tool bar?

Lots of places on the internet if you look.

There are archives of free icon type images around on the web although they're not necessarily good ones. The last time I wanted some I got them on the SunSite http://src.doc.ic.ac.uk which may tell you how long ago that was. Just Google for 'free bitmap archive' and be very careful what you click on after that.
Most free software I've come across with really good bitmaps/icons they either paid out for somebody to do them even though they'd be out of pocket or spent a lot of time and effort doing it themsleves.
Plenty of other people find ones they like on another product, screen shot it, cut out the image and adapt it from there. I'll leave you to decide whether that's a legal thing to do in your particular jurisdiction.
