Drop down list for city and their areas

i want to fill city and their areas in one dropdownlist for searching purpose .If user select city name then search result contains matching data from whole areas related to that city ,But if user select area then result will be related to that specific area .

City Name have different look and fill or css style than area name so that it get recognized easily
