Sharepoint Modal Dialog hijacking the enter key

I have a sharpoint modal dialog which surfaces a page for user input of some information. I need the ability for the enter key to provide the lf and cr as usual, but when pressed it fires the close event of the daialog. How do I get around this behavior?

Solution 1

Figured out my problem. I was missing the textmode "multiline". Added it and now it works fine. Suffering from Cranial/Rectal Inversion.
