DXUTEditBox goes wrong

I use DXUTEditBox class to create a control,but it didn't work well,the caret didn't move at all when I input something.
I create this edit control just like this:

g_PrevDialog.Init(&g_DialogResourceManager1);

g_PrevDialog.AddEditBox(IDC_USERNAME,L"",80,22,138,32);

Why??????~~Who can help me?~~thank you very much!!!!!!
