using date of inserting in databse to select the file from project folder

Dear Friends
I want to upload files in my project folder and path and date in database.
And then I want to read latest uploaded file ie on the basis of Date.after
that I have to display latest files content on a web page in my project.
Please Provide me reliable guidence and the way to do this.I am new in asp.net
and it is looking very tough task to me.

I have uploaded the file in the project folder and file name and date in database,but path is not inserted in database.Now I don't have any idea how to read file from folder on the basis of date and display its content on other web page.
