MVC 4 with remote mysql server

i tried MVC 4 with local mysql server to create entity it was working fine. but i tried to use mvc4 with remote mysql server (through LAN) i was not able to create entity and entity diagrams. it shows fatel error. can any one help me to solve this.
If you can plz provide sample application with all required dlls.
