good afternoon,

in visual studio 2010,when i right click the server,the properties option is disabled.

please help me

Help you with what? What server are you talking about?

At a guess (and that is all we can give, given your lack of information in the question) you are right clicking a server in the Server Explorer pane of VS, and the "Properties" selection is greyed out. This is normal for some database servers: SQL Server for example by default cannot be administered remotely (although it may be possible to change the configuration of SQL Server to allow it, I've never tried) so the Properties are unavailable. Other DB systems may permit it, and the properties will be available.

Try using the setup or management software for the appropriate server instead. For SQL Server, that is SSMS.
