i am new to android now a days i am learning how to make application in android.
i want to know that it is possible to make whole website in android if it is then how??
if not then where developer makes a lite website for mobile devices and how they manage database for both mobile and system ??
please clear my basics thank you.

You do not need android platform to develop web application. You can follow Mobile Web development guidelines to create website. This is the best link to clear your basics.

Web sites are created using HTML5 and CSS technology and you need to host it on a web server.You can use any editor to create your pages and css but for make testing simple it has to be on OS like Windows or UNIX.
