Uploading multiple images to server and retrieving as a zip file

I have a page in which I am allowing the user to insert some data about their work.Along with this,I also want to include a File upload in which only images can be uploaded and saved. The inserted data can then be viewed by the user in a GridView. After the images are uploaded,I want to give the user an option to download these images as a zip file. With each insertion,the user can upload multiple no. of images. I dont know how to store these images while uploading them and retrieve them later as a zip file.Please help.
