Hi everyone ,

i programmed an asp.net 4.0 website with sql server 2008\SQLEXPRESS database
i want to host my website .
Can anyone help me and give the steps to host a website and connect the domain to it after buying a host and domainname

When you register for domain,you will get username and password for your site.Download FTP client like Filezilla.You will get their fields host,username,password.e.g. your website is www.xyz.com,then enter this as your host,enter username and password for the same and click QUICK CONNECT.Upload your website data to wwwroot folder and you are done.

Hi,

If you have purchased a domain name and web space then:-

1. Change Name Servers from domain provider to your web space provider.

2. download CoreFTP free FTP software to upload and download files from local PC to your server.
