Get item form combo box and display to texbox in another form

Hello,
I have two form. Form Loan and Form Asset. In Form Asset i fill up the AssetId and AssetItem (combo box). In Form Loan i also have AssetId and AssetItem (text box).
How i want to display the AssetItem(combo box) in Form Asset to AssetItem(textbox) in Form Loan after i fill up the asset id ? Tq for helping.

The solution refer to "Pass data back to the calling form" example right? So i must make Form Loan as a child form and Form Asset as a parents form right?

Yes, the solution refer to Pass data back to the calling form[^] example, but this is one of many possible ways to achieve that.
No, you don't need to set forms as Child or Parent. "Child" in this context means: "any called form". Please, refer the other articles for better understanding.

But the other articles use c# language. I just use basic vb.

Sorry to ask u again. I think all the tutorial in 'Search box' u give use c#. I only use VB. Can u give another tutorial with vb? I really new and know basic only. Tq so much for helping.
