control in c# to view different file types

I want a control which will accept list of different files like .jpeg or .mp3. Now depending on the file type I have to do the following: If it be "abc.jpg" I have to show it as a static image; If it be "adc.mp3" I have to play it automatically. If anybody has any idea with respect to the above mentioned task, it will be great for me.

You can develop user controls for each of your needs (image, mp3, etc ...). And then, your own control which will load the appropriate user control according to the file extension.
