An online MCQs test Web application(entry test web application) I want to develop using asp.net with C#. But the problem is :
how can I ensure that a person who is attempting test is a real student and he is not cheating i.e., checking MCQs answer on web or taking help from any other person.
One solution comes into my mind is video recording but i guess this option is not suitable and efficient.
I hope professional web developers will help me
please help.

Have a look at naukri.com free aptitude test that has recently been lauched. There is a functionality that your webcam should be working and you will be captured at random time intervals, thus assuring to somewhat level that no mal practices are being carried out. I think you cant do any more than this.

If you are creating a web application for MCQ examination then there is nothing you can do to prevent the mal practices that are outside the scope of your applications. Even the Microsoft certifications exams are done in presence of an invigilator.

Ofcourse not,you are dealing with computer not a robot. How can you expect that your computer will do all the stuff from mcq to super vision of applicants?
