Excel c# pivot table and range doubts

Hi this month i have been asked to make a programm for some elaboration of excel files,its been a week and i can't understand how to create a pivot table and also i'm struggling about getting the range of 2(or more) columns in the same range instace.I would be greatfull if someone could explain me in simple words how those 2 things work .

-.- I can use google...it's that every code i find i don't quite get it...so i get a load of errors.So i asked for an explanation as simple as it can be.
