Salesforce API integration with ASP.NET

Hi,
I want to integrate Salesforce API with ASP.NET.
My task is to import an attachment from client server to salesforce.
Can any one tell me how can i add custom fields and match these files with salesforce so that i import my Excel or .csv file in salesforce.
