How to Access Panel control from user controls in aspx.cs page

I want to access the panel control from user control(.ascx) so i have used the following code but this type of error raised 'system.web.ui.contol' to 'panel'

Panel panelprint = (Panel)this.Parent.FindControl("pnlforlistbox");

how to rectify this. please give me an idea or solution
