Starting problem in my machine

Dear All
Whenever I start my Windows 7 Laptop, after getting started first it shows a message in MessageBox like " Unable to cast object of type 'System.Double' to type 'System.String'." I an very worried about this message why it is displayed? Please someone help

It seems one of your startup application have problem. Try removing any app thats causing the problem.Though this question is offtopic.

Solution 1

Process Explorer[^] has a functionality "Find Window's Process". Start Process Exploerer, drag the crosshair icon onto the error message window and see what process displayed it.

If you don't need the process, remove it. If you do, tell us some more. (Use the "Improve question" link for that and leave a comment here, too.)
