How to delete previous version of deployed solution by soft (Visual Studio and VB NET)

Hi,

i have a soft in VB NET with Visual Studio.
This soft is deployed in a web serveur.
Each time the user start the soft in his PC then the soft check in the serveur if there is a new version and then he is downloaded in the user's PC
The soft is about 25Mo.

By soft i want to delete previous version installed in the user's PC.

By soft i know the directory of active version of the soft but i don't know the directory of the previous version

Please help me
