exporting lage amount of data to excel

when iam exporting large amount of data to excel(more than 1lakh)it is showing systemoutofmemoryexception.and also while opening that excel file it is showing css file missing..can any one help me..:(

I dont understand why people dont get the very basic thing that no one would like to/be able go through this many records at one time. It makes zero sense to have 1 lakh records to export at a time.Further,Excel Worksheet size is 65,536 rows by 256 columns. How would you fit your data into this? Refine logic atleast to some extent.

Export using which technic: Interop, OpenXML, ...?
