Barcode Printing for code 39 /128

Needs help in Generating Bar code for Code 39 or 128,Tried free fonts/ocxs they do generate barcode but scanner reads them some times and some times do not return any value, i am printing code on normal printer and normal printing paper is it because of this, Is there any other way to
test generated bar code.

Any help will be highly appreciated

Thanks for the post , Problem is not in generating, it is generating bar code i had tried Spire Barcode also (http://sourceforge.net/projects/eiceblue/?source=dlp) but the scanner does not read them , but if i use any third party barcode application , scanner reads them easily and quickly.
