recive sms automatically

I have a gsm modem, which is connected with my PC by COM port.
Now I want to send and receive sms by this modem automatically.
I can read msg one by one from sim.
But the problem is I want a method where...some allication wil run wheneever the sim recive a sms.
That is whenever the sim recive some msg...some apllication will process the sms.
But i try protdatarecived method,its faild. So is there any process which warn my application when some data is recived.

hi,
Check with timer ,In your fomr you can use the timer and check for any data receive.

thank you for your help but incase of timer,it will hang other froms so i am ignoring timer concept.
