Thin Client with RDP

Hi all,

I have a requirment to show an applications that displays some images. But in some cases whe it need to do some time consuming image processing operation, it will request a server( a high-end machine ) to do it.

I was wondering whether this can be implemented using the Micorosft Remote desktop protocol (RDP ). Any idea? Google didnt gave me much results :(

I know this can be done using normal socket communication. But if RDP or anyothe similar technology has similar feature I would like to give a try.

Please give some suggestions.
