editable column in gridview in button event

Hi friends,
I have done the following task in windows application. but i cannot able to do it web application. the task is bind gridview and add extra one column with editable mode in the dropdownlist selectedItemchangedevent.I need support from yours.

Quick answer for your question is using EditItemTemplates and Template columns see the below given sample code . ( I tried posting the source code but the code is not being displayed )
